Irish food ordering app joins Clearbox
Bamboo, one of Ireland’s leading food ordering apps, has appointed Clearbox to manage its PR in Ireland.
Dublin-based Bamboo allows customers to order and pay from restaurants, cafés, bars and hotels seamlessly through its app and suite of ordering tools.
The company is in a period of rapid growth, accelerating hiring and investing heavily in on-boarding new establishments as it introduces the next generation of in-venue dining to Ireland.
To help drive the excitement and buzz around Bamboo’s plans, Clearbox will manage the brand’s communications across Ireland. Clearbox’s PR campaigns will focus on media and consumers in Dublin, Donegal, Wexford and Monaghan.
Clearbox will report to Bamboo’s Country Manager Conor Moules and Marketing Manager Aoife Porter. On Clearbox’s appointment, Conor said:
“We were introduced to the Clearbox team by a mutual friend in the Irish media and when they presented their ideas to us, I was blown away. They understand our business, they get what we want to achieve and they’re perfectly placed to help us smash our goals over the coming months. We’ve got massive ambitions for Bamboo and it’s great to be working with a team that matches those ambitions.”
Clearbox General Manager, Claire Best, added:
“Bamboo is a brilliant app that will absolutely fly under the leadership of Conor and Aoife. The Bamboo team’s honesty, humour and ambition really resonates with our team at Clearbox. We are all incredibly excited to be a part of the growth of Bamboo over the coming months and can’t wait to get started on our campaigns.”
