This week has been a bit of a banger at Clearbox after we were shortlisted for four awards at this year's CIPR Pride Awards.
The work we did for our brilliant clients at Universal Pictures UK and Morelli's has scooped nominations for Best Arts, Culture or Sport and Best Use of Photography or Design respectively.
For Universal Pictures UK, we celebrated the launch of Mrs. Brown's Boys DVD 'How Now Mrs. Brown Cow' by giving Dublin a Christmas fairy it'll never forget in the form of Rory from the show. The amazing Rory donned a pink tutu and sat on top of the 50ft Christmas tree on Dublin's O'Connell Street for our launch - check out some of the coverage here, here and here.
For Ireland's best ice cream makers, Morelli's, we created a giant mosaic made from sweet treats to pay tribute to Northern Ireland captain and Ballymena native, Steven Davis, as he went to France to steal the show at EURO 2016. You can see some coverage here and check out a video from the day here.
The agency itself has been shortlisted for two awards - Outstanding Small Public Relations Consultancy and Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy.
The shortlist announcement sparked wild scenes of celebration in the office, something akin to the scene in Jerry Maguire where Cuba Gooding Jr. shows him the money, with less American Football/Tom Cruise and more tea and leftover birthday cake.
On a serious note, it's an absolute privilege to be shortlisted for any award for our work, and to get four nominations from the CIPR is humbling and a massive honour for us. We're up against some of the best agencies, campaigns and brands in the country and it's brilliant to share a little bit of the limelight with them.
We'd like to say a big thank you to our clients for continuing to let us run wild on their behalf and to our team for their continued creativity, hard work and enthusiasm. Oh, and for the banter. We'd be nowhere without the banter.
All the Georgie Best!
