×Sofia Crawford-Walker made a re-appearance at Clearbox two months ago as our new Junior Account Executive after a summer internship with us last year.
We're glad to have her back, and we thought it was time for her to share a few fun facts about herself and her journey so far! Let’s hear it, Sofia!
Hi Everyone!! I’m Sofia, or Fifi as most people call me. I’ve just graduated from the University of Reading where I was studying Psychology with Neuroscience and I am buzzing to be joining the Clearbox team as a Junior Account Executive.
I was lucky enough to do an internship with Clearbox last summer and had the best experience - I couldn’t believe my luck when I got to go to Berlin for their summer party with Laika. Alongside the trip, I really enjoyed getting an insight into the world of PR and the work that Clearbox does and was very excited when they announced their graduate role recruitment earlier this year.
After going back and forth to Reading for university for the last couple of years, I am very happy to be back and settled in the Emerald Isle, although I will be missing a cheeky 20 minute train into London for a day trip! I love to travel and I’m very excited for my next trip to California in August. But I still have many, many places to tick off the bucket list so thank goodness for Clearbox’s unlimited holidays and working from abroad scheme…
While at university, and before, I did dance classes in my spare time so I’m hoping to keep that up now I’m home. It’s quite exciting coming out of university and discovering new hobbies and interests, I’ve dabbled in the odd yoga/Pilates class, so perhaps this will be my new thing. Other than that, I spend most of my time with my family in Co.Down, soaking up the sea air and finding the joy in an inch of blue sky.
A few other fun facts about me: I won’t be any use to anyone until I’ve had a cup of tea in the morning, I am the youngest of three (and still not the favourite child) and my favourite cocktail is a Long Island Iced Tea – risky but worth it! I’m very motivated and hard-working, a gal who loves a challenge and loves to learn.
In my first month, I’ve already experienced a Clearbox night in which featured some good food and some questionable karaoke, but I am loving life working at Clearbox so far. I don’t know if you have noticed but this company is pretty special and I can’t wait to learn more about the world of PR alongside such a (FUN!) supportive team and get stuck into my career at Clearbox.
