At Clearbox, we're passionate about giving young people the opportunity to get experience or jobs in PR. Joining us this month is Aimee, a Communications, Advertising and Marketing student from Ulster University.

We'll let her introduce herself - welcome Aimee!

Hey everyone! My name is Aimee and I have started Clearbox to complete a summer internship in which I am very excited about.

I am from Antrim, and I study Communications, Advertising and Marketing at Ulster University Belfast. I am starting my second year in September, and I am looking forward to gaining more experience in the industry with Clearbox. Through my part-time job in a local restaurant, I have gained a substantial audience viewing after being given the role of marketing assistant using TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.

If I had to describe myself professionally, I would say I am very ambitious and once I have a clear vision of my goal won’t stop until I achieve it. I love a challenge so much so that I picked the highest tariff course at Ulster University to study. I am so glad I made this choice, or I wouldn’t be here with Clearbox today.

My favourite pastime is online shopping; there is just something about having a parcel coming every now and then that just makes me feel so complete. I have recently found a love for paddle boarding, and I am quite good at it I must say (however, if you were one of the eight people who saw me fall in head-first at Portrush it must have been someone else)!

Something people might not know about me is that I adore quotes, especially ‘quotes by Christie’ on Instagram if you don’t already follow her, it is a must! I always find the right little quote can set you up for a perfect day with a clear mind. My ultimate favourite quote is ‘If it won’t matter in 5 years, don’t spend five minutes worrying about it.’

I have a passion for travel, I love exploring new places and trying new things especially different foods from around the world. My favourite place in the whole world is New York City. Having just visited for the first time in June I will most definitely be returning, and I can’t recommend it enough if you haven’t been it’s a must!

I am so grateful for this opportunity, and I am looking forward to getting to meet everyone!
