Amazon

The brilliant work taking at Amazon's fulfilment centre network continues to go from strength to strength, with some great activity taking place over the last few months. Donations to charities across the country and preparations for Prime Day 2016 are just some of the things we've been up to.

We attended the company's Wishlist event in London last week where we, along with hundreds and hundreds of media, had the opportunity to see the products that are going to be hot this Christmas.

The Amazon Clearbox team is also busy working on Prime Now, having launched several new locations in the past few months and testing the service with UK-based parent bloggers.

Morelli's

You might have missed it, but Northern Ireland took EURO 2016 by storm in June and we capitalised on the buzz around the tournament for our clients at Morelli's. We wanted to create headlines for the country's favourite ice cream brand so we paid a sweet tribute to Northern Ireland captain, Steven Davis.

Using 40.2 million (45kg) green and white sprinkles and 75,000 (40kg) smarties, we created a mosaic of the captain's face with the help of pupils from his primary school, Buick Memorial, near Ballymena. You can check out the finished product here, which helped generate coverage across the UK and drove hundreds of thousands of engagements on social media. It even made the TV teatime news! Most important of all, it helped Morelli's sales jump by 26% vs the same week in 2015.

What did we do with all those sweet treats after the stunt? Hold on a second, we need to finish this chocolate and then we'll tell all.

Down Royal

We've also started working with the talented team at Down Royal since we last updated you. Armed with a brief to make the summer festival of racing an odds-on favourite for young socialites, we engaged friend of Clearbox and all round good guy, Shane Todd, to create videos for social media that shows off the race course in a funny, engaging and shareable way.

You can check out one of the videos here. It's funny, it's smart and, best of all, it delivered over 100,000 views and reached 250,000 people organically. Not bad, eh?

Universal Pictures Ireland

Since we spoke last, we've launched three Hollywood blockbusters for the team at Universal Pictures Ireland. The Huntsman: Winter's War, Warcraft: The Beginning and The Secret Life of Pets were three brilliant projects that the team loved working on.

To launch Huntsman, we created a beauty shoot with an evil sister theme; Warcraft took over Dublin's Temple Bar for some street art with a difference and The Secret Life of Pets took Ireland by storm after we worked with a dozen celebrities to capture special portraits of their pets, which ran for two weeks as an exhibition.

Bushmills

The world's most famous whiskey brand is a new addition to the Clearbox client family and we helped the team at Bushmills activate its sponsorship of the Belfast City Blues Festival. We took up residence in the Bushmills Marquee at the festival and got busy snapping pictures of the music fans enjoying themselves. Were you at the event? See if you can spot yourself here or here!

Digital DNA

Ireland's biggest and best technology and business conference took place in June at the world-famous St George's Market in Belfast.

The Clearbox team worked on the event for several months leading up to the big day, which was attended by some of the globe's leading digital strategists. Top press coverage in titles like the Belfast Telegraph and Sync NI helped make the event Digital DNA's most popular ever, with more than 1,000 delegates, speakers and exhibitors packing into St George's Market for the event.

Marshes Shopping Centre

Two of the biggest and most highly anticipated events in Dundalk's calendar returned in July with a very fashionable bang. We helped launch the Dundalk Style Weekender, a fabulous lineup of fashion, food and lifestyle in the surroundings of Marshes Shopping Centre.

The weekend will be rounded off with the ever popular Marshes Ladies Day which returns to Dundalk Stadium on Tuesday 12th July. You can see some of the press coverage from the launch here and here.

Team news

We've welcomed three new members to the team since our last update. Marleta Bailie joined us as a PR Assistant after she graduated from Ulster University's Communications, Advertising and Marketing course and Susan Ogonda has come to the 'Box on an internship. Joining Susan and Marleta is Mac, the office kitten. He's quite cute, no?

So, there you have it - a little glimpse into some of the things we've been working on over the last few months. We won't leave it so long before the next update, promise!
