Zoopla appoints Clearbox for regional PR push

21. 09. 2020

Zoopla, the UK’s most comprehensive property destination, has called on Clearbox to manage and amplify the brand’s print and online regional communications in support of the biggest marketing drive in the company’s history.

The marketing campaign, which features Zoopla’s brand positioning of ‘We know what a home is really worth’ features the story of young brothers Billy and Dylan. Its aim is to highlight the joy of finding a home that is right for you and has been created to get homemovers talking as the property market bounces back following the easing of lockdown restrictions and the implementation of a Stamp Duty holiday.

Clearbox will be responsible for creating engaging news content in multiple locations across the UK and the agency will report to Tom Parker, Zoopla’s Head of Communications.

The Clearbox regional PR team will be led by agency director, Claire Best. Speaking on the appointment, Claire said:

“We’re ecstatic to welcome Zoopla to Clearbox and we can’t wait to create lots of amazing stories and coverage for the brand. There’s been an instant synergy between the Zoopla team and our own, and we’re really excited for what lies ahead. To work for such a fantastic brand is an honour and I’d like to thank the team there for choosing us to support Zoopla during this really exciting time for the company.”

Tom Parker, Head of Communications at Zoopla, added:

“Our new campaign is perfectly positioned to get homebuyers and tenants excited about a property market that’s really bouncing back and it’s great to get Clearbox’s support for our push across the UK over the coming weeks. They’re a fantastically talented group whose specialists in regional media are second to none. I’m looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together.”

Clearbox is a creative communications agency with offices in Belfast and Yorkshire. The company specialises in PR, social and experiential campaigns for brands such as 3EN, Amazon, Boyzlife, Bushmills Irish Whiskey, The Sexton, SUKI Tea and Zoopla.
