Hitting all the right notes with Boyzlife

2019 - Present

Everyone knows Clearbox loves a boyband classic. So when Boyzlife’s Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden first came to us with a brief for their 2019 UK tour, we couldn’t wait to dive in. 

The Boyzone-Westlife supergroup asked us to help them with a brand refresh, building a social media presence and developing a dedicated website to generate mass awareness and promote their upcoming tour dates in a creative, slick way. Time for a key change…

We coordinated a fully styled asset creation shoot to build a bank of premium, scroll-stopping content for use across social media channels and the website. Building Boyzlife’s Twitter and Instagram channels from scratch and updating the band’s existing Facebook page, it was important that we crafted a succinct, uniform Boyzlife brand to be rolled out across all digital platforms, and we worked closely with Keith and Brian to capture that distinctive, cheeky Boyzlife tone of voice.

Using social analytics and key trends among our target audience, we created tailored monthly content calendars for each of the social channels, jam-packed with Twitter Q&As, Instagram Story quizzes, polls, tour live-streams and behind-the-scenes exclusives and competitions. In addition to this, we maintain an always-on, highly responsive approach to fan interaction, regularly liking, sharing and engaging with fan content and messages to bridge the gap between the Boyz and their fans.

Fast forward eight months and an Instagram blue tick later, we now have a combined social following of over 40,000 (and counting!) across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
